Points of Measurement

Over the years, we have noticed that different companies has different measurement chart for different style but also different points of measurements for different garments.

Point of measurement is basically the exact position of where to measure to get the correct results." For example, some companies measure the sleeve length from the centre back but some others measure from the shoulder seam. And this may be across different styles."

We were confused ourselves in our dealing with such irregularity in measurement.

We understand that each and every of our customer has their own sizing and fit. Sweet Rain considers the measurements of the garments an essential element in achieving high quality Sweet Rain customer require.

We have develop a Standard Measurement manual that has standardised methods that will ensure the consistency and accuracy in measuring, resulting in a better quality of fit. The measurements method illustrated in the manual will be used in all Sweet Rain production locations. All our Quality Controllers are familiar with Sweet Rain measurements, methods and required documentation.

Part of our service to our customer is that we allow our customer to provide their own measurement which we will convert according to our Measurement Manual. We can also reproduce your own sizing by providing a size range of your own garments.

Upon placement of an order even how big or small it can be, we make up a specification sheet which is unique to the customer depending of the fit they are after. Once we have got the approval, we place order with our factories. We normally ask pre production sample which we cross checked first with the specification sheet. The samples are then sent to customer for approval. The specification sheet will consist as follows.
